Creamed Kneopfla-A family favorite-German Dish




Kneopfla Dough
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
6 cups flour
mix dough and roll into ropes
Start a large pot of water to boiling
snip into small pieces
Boil until the dough is done about 15-20 minutes after the last snipped piece.
Drain the knoepfla in a strainer

While the Kneopfla is cooking do the following:
9 X 13 pan
1-stick butter (real butter)
one small onion chopped
1-pkg. ham bits
cook until the onion is clear
place the drained knoepfla in the butter mixture
pour a quart of heavy whipping cream over all this
Bake in the oven fr 20-30 minutes at 350 until warmed through and bubbly. Yummy! Enjoy!
