Today was a very difficult day...Maizee has been sickly for a very long time...she fought cancer and two surgeries...was on a heavy dose of steroids...which seemed to cause a lot of issues for her and has been having heart problems for many months...no medications seemed to help her...she had fluid in her lungs and Lacey had to make a couragous decision and put Maizee down...she was our first and only house dog...Lacey will have many more...but Maizee will always hold a special place as her first house dog and long term dog...her friend...I feel like a family member was lost today! We have great memories of this little dog..and she will always be rememered with love!!
