Maizee...our pet for over 13 years...

Today was a very difficult day...Maizee has been sickly for a very long time...she fought cancer and two surgeries...was on a heavy dose of steroids...which seemed to cause a lot of issues for her and has been having heart problems for many months...no medications seemed to help her...she had fluid in her lungs and Lacey had to make a couragous decision and put Maizee down...she was our first and only house dog...Lacey will have many more...but Maizee will always hold a special place as her first house dog and long term dog...her friend...I feel like a family member was lost today! We have great memories of this little dog..and she will always be rememered with love!!

We drove to Plaza, ND for Doug Prock's retirement party...I used to babysit their kids for them, they were my Sunday School teacher as a teenager, it was so good to see them...they are moving to FL in a couple weeks!!
