A Redneck something!

Chuck Wagon Barry Built.

Barry spent a good part of the winter building this authentic chuck wagon...so we can have BBQ's in the back pasture in the middle of nowhere to relax and have fun!!  I will be the chuck wagon cook...come on summertime!! I am lookiing for some authentic cast iron pots with lids to hang over the campfire...it will be great to get this done!!

Making Valentine Gifts for Relay for Life Fundraiser!

We made two bakers baskets, pampering basket, sock basket, movie basket for a fundraiser for Relay for Life...we made over $100 for the Relay...go Bronson's Ringers!!! We made over $100 on these baskets!

Today Believe it or Not???

I am putting my Christmas Things away...it is sad it's almost Valentine's Day...this is official Becky and Art will not be back for a long time!!  This is a sad day!!  All my snowmen are going to bed for the year...everyone says I have to many...so I will play all the musical ones one more time...especially the one from Nellie...Baby it's cold outside...love that one...and I wanted the new one from Hallmark this year and no one would let me get it it played such a cute song...so today the snowmen who melt my heart will be put in the tubs and say good bye until next time!!!

French Bread Ordeal!

A customer returned this french bread to us on Super Bowl Sunday...a blue glove was baked into the french bread...we get out french bread in frozen...I was so embarrassed...can you imagine him cutting it for all his friends and then a blue glove baked into it...I am sure this will be spread around the town...poor me the bakery gal!!! (He did take another bread!)

Shooting Part 2

The other day while I was in the grocery store...only place I really go...someone came up and told me the shooting was not drug related that the boys wanted to talk to their mother's boyfriend and ask them not to hit her...OK...so why did they wear a ski mask???  Whey did one have and AKA machine gun type of weapon??  One of the boys that works at the store found the ski maks in his yard...the men tried to burn their clothes when they go to their homes...so much chaos and then stories mae up!!  This will be makng the rotations for years to come!!

I am not so sure I want to continue blogging I have few followers and no one comments on anything anymore!!!  I must be boring????

Shooting in Rural Beulah ND community...

Tuesday, Jan. 31 I received a text in the evening saying a shooting had taken place in Beulah...two men were shot and possibly three were involved in the shooting of them...police were on a serious chase to find the shooters...the Special Forces Division of law enforcement was called out to find the suspects...it took them about two hours to find the suspects...the incident occurred in an apartment building behind the local Dairy Queen...police were all over Dairy Queen it was closed down...the residents in the apartment buildings around and across from the shooting were asked to leave...road blocks were set up...all cars, buses, vans and moving vehicle was being searched on all the roads to Beulah...the local basket ball team was playing in Dickenson about an hour away...the buses were even searched and no children were released to anyone other then their parents...Lacey was trying t call us and I had gone to bed...I grew up in Chicago and Kansas City areas most of my life...this was normal...but I understand it was not normal for Beulah, ND...Lacey could not reach us...Barry was not answering the phones for some odd reason...she was pretty worked up and was sure they had found their way here and shot us and stolen our vehicles...good grief...we don't even have a yard light to find us as Barry doesn't want anyone to find us unless we want them to....he might have to change a tire or something...so Barry got a little worked up and got out the guns and loaded them...I raised one eye and said all that could happen now it is could tip over and go off accidentally and shoot us...and I chuckled went back to sleep...slept like a baby...when I got to work the general manager of the store usually walks or rides his bike to and from work unless its horrid weather...he had driven BC he had no idea they were apprehended yet...my bakery girls were full of information as one of them has a scanner so she heard all the police etc...later as the customers came in we heard all kinds of things...the local hardware store had a run on house door handles with keys...BC most people cannot find their keys...people will not leave their keys in their vehicles BC of this...funny they blame the oil people that have come in...when the suspects were apprehended they were local thugs that have been in and out of jail etc...the guys shot were form Montana...it was a drug deal gone bad...this area has always had a large amount of drug traffic...several years ago The FBI had a drug bust with many many agents apprehending local people...but it is a pretty horrendous story for our little town of 3500 considering one was killed.
