Crazy Laundry Tips...I love to do laundry!

Let the sorting begin with laundry...Famous laundry ad...1950's laundry... We have come a long way from this doing our laundry...be thankful! LOL! Don't pull your hair out follow these tips regarding laundry.... 1. Collars...I always put Dawn dish soap on them...it takes the greasy grim from sweat and hair right out.
2. Black clothing...always wash inside out...it keeps the black blacker longer!
3. Denim clothing...I wash inside out...keeps bluer longer.
4. Bright clothing...hot pink...turquiose...green...wash inside out...keeps bighter longer and doesn't get dingy looking.
5. Coffee, Soy Sauce, Mustard...shaving cream will take these out...sometimes leave on overnight.
6. If stains are set in from dryer you can soak overnight or a few days...with Washing Soda and Borax...a big pail use 1/2 cup of each.
7. Blood...hydrogen peroxide is best.
8. Shower Curtains(plastic)...you can wash in the washer with laundry soap and 1/2 cup bleach...works perfect.
9. Vinegar in the rinse water it works as a fabric softener.
10. SEPERATING CLOTHES IS SUPER IMPORTANT...WHITES, DENIMS, BRIGHTS, BLACKS, REDS, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SUPER CAREFUL ABOUT SEPERATING CLOTHING TO SAVE THEM AND KEEP THEM NICE!
11. Always close zippers!
12. When taking clothes out of the washer be sure everything is turned right side out (except dark or denim) be sure nothing has kinks in it or legs flipped funny etc...saves on ironing...even when hanging on the line hang smoothly!!
13. Line drying...hang clothes on line to prevent bunching, wrinkles...once a week run a cloth with warm water and pine cleaner over lines to get grime off to prevent spots on clothes.
14. Line Drying towels...don't hang by corners...hang over in half...prevents stretching and misshaping of towels.
15. Spandex and elastic...NO DRYING...hang or line dry...I line dry or hang dry ALWAYS!
16. Whites...on the clothes line on a sunny day will whiten them up.
17. If you have allergies DO NOT HANG CLOTHES ON THE LINE...Pollens will stick to the clothes and stir up your allergies!!
18. Clothing is expensive so I have always taken great care to wash and dry properly...I line dry all my tops...prevents shrinkage...fading etc. ( I put in the dryer for about ten minutes to get the wrinkles out then hang carefully on a hanger).
19. NEVER EVER WASH TOWLES WITH CLOTHING...ALWAYS WASH SEPERATE!!!!!!!!
20. When I see how some people do laundry I about go crazy...I want to take them aside and teach them how to properly do laundry...I love doing laundry and pride myself on getting stains out and having clothes look nice for a long time! (FutureBlog-Ironing and Pressing Clothing).
